Female hernia
Pelvic Bulge

Female hernia is a condition where a part of the intestine or tissue bulges through a weakened area in the abdominal wall. The most common types of hernia in women are inguinal, femoral, and umbilical hernias. An inguinal hernia occurs in the groin area, though it's less common in women than men. Femoral hernias are more common in women and occur just below the groin. Umbilical hernias cause a bulge near the belly button. Symptoms include a visible bulge, pain or discomfort while lifting, swelling, and weakness in the affected area. Causes include increased pressure, pregnancy, childbirth, aging, or previous surgeries. Hernias can also occur due to weakened abdominal muscles. Treatment usually involves surgery to repair the hernia, and a mesh may be used to strengthen the area. It’s essential to seek medical attention to prevent complications like strangulation, which can cut off blood supply to the herniated tissue.
